2009 Looking back… 2010 Moving forward

Achievements for 2009:

  • Baby Nikita’s birth
  • It’s been a wonderful year of naturally spiritual Church family moments. A wedding, an engagement, baby birth (twins) all of young people from our congregation that grew up in the church over the last 10 years.
  • numerous successful kids and youth camps.  More than a dozen salvations.
  • new young men’s discipleship group (a second young male leaders discipleship group)
  • solidified ministry team of 10 people for the Golden Oldies ministry
  • 20 new chairs and projector screen for hall.
  • Approval given for Church land purchase.  (Lord willing by June 2010, the almost 3000m2 church property will belong to the church. (major miracle)
  • McDonalds’ oil shipments began for biodiesel production (major miracle)
  • a truck for biodiesel enterprise
  • renovation of a 28×6 metre room at the warehouse as a indoor sporting facility.  (really cool and is already giving us quality time with young fellows from the youth group and biodiesel enterprise)
  • new door open for humanitarian aid and access to the poor of our town.  We have a list of 600 local children from ‘extremely needy’ category that we’re praying for resources and ministers to reach.

We continue to press forward in our vision of impacting our town with the Gospel and transforming one life at a time for the Glory of God.

Expectations for 2010:

  • Continuing development (and practical application) of community transformation vision for our congregation.
  • New Ministry stages in church body:
    • Activation of men’s  ‘spirit’ within men in our congregation.
    • Emphasis on practical relationship building for married couples
  • Church Property:
    • Acquisition of church land.
    • Build a fence for church along the main street
    • Renovations of Children’s ministry room after fire
  • Biodiesel Enterprise:
    • Licensing and quality certification
    • Improved cash flow.
  • Sports Hall:
    • Quality time and discipleship of  youths
    • Outreach to blokes in the community through indoor sports.

Thank you  for your continuing active support and prayer for the work in Ukraine and Kaharlyk in particular.

We pray that you’re built up, challenged and inspired in your faith through our ministry.

    Dear Wayne, Olya and co-workers,
Reading the above makes it perfectly clear that your hard work for the Lord is being richly blessed by Him!
We rejoice with you looking back at 2009 and what was achieved then.
We also find that your expectations for 2010 are realistic and trust that God will undertake for you.
We keep praying for His continued blessings on all your endeavours towards the extension of His Kingdom.

    With our love and greetings,

    Pieter and Diane.

I think it is truly amazing that you heard your call to God’s work in your country and even tho you have had lots of ups and downs over the years….You have certainly brought a town and it’s people together in unity of Our Lord.
You have been blessed with your two boys and now a beautiful daughter….your lives have been saved and the Government “TRY” but do not deter you from anything that you need to want, have, and do and you have received things from the blessings and love that you have sent out to everyone.
I will be 68 in March this year, tried to retire, but no!!!
I have too much energy, and love for my fellow people, but have not been able to do anything that you have done, Soooo
I am going back to work for either a few months, it could lead to 12 mths or even 2 years….If this is the case, then
God will then allow me to bless you and your family with small donations to help pay ever 1 thing that you need to take some pressure of your daily committments.
May our Lord keep that Plated Armour over all of you as he has always done, and that he will keep providing you and your congregation to even a fuller relationship with him.
    Bless you all….Love Samantha Pilbeam
